Feijoa and spirulina smoothie

I love feijoas  They are perfect for breakfast! For 2 smoothies I just used 6 feijoas (peeled), 400 ml natural apple juice and half a tsp of spirulina. Photos and Recipes by Alessandra Zecchini  ©

Beautiful heart melon and watermelon plate

This is perfect if you: A:  follow a raw diet (or don't know what to give to a raw eater/vega/gluten free/allergic/etc.) B:  prefer fruit to dessert (i.e. no time to make dessert) C:  want to lose weigh or to eat breakfast all day long D:  are in love! All you need is a knife and a hear shaped cookie cutter.  Photos and recipes by Alessandra Zecchini

Breakfast smoothie with berry yogurt, banana and Weet-Bix

This is for the boy, as he prefers to "drink" his cereals in the morning (takes less time!) Ingredients: Half glass pouring yogurt (I use  boys'nberry  -  yes, a different spelling from boysenberry, good for boys!) Half glass milk 1  Weet Bix 1 banana (I use  All Good Bananas ) 1 tbsp blueberries Instructions: Blend and drink. It makes one glass and half of thick and filling smoothie! Eggs and... soldiers?

More than a recipe this is a serving suggestion for breakfast! We like to have (free range) eggs and soldiers on Saturday morning, but even better if instead of 'soldiers' made with toast strips, we have thick grissini (Italian bread sticks). Just dip the grissini into the soft boiled eggs and enjoy! Photos and Recipes by Alessandra Zecchini  ©
